| This sheet of sandpaper was made from
  72 individual sheets that were taped together
  on the back side, and covered the floor of my studio. Similar to Run, the purpose of this activity was to attempt to record the creative energy of the process in the form of the produced object. I was also interested in the compression of distance and time, and how both of these components would be recorded and stored visually. The total distance walked was approximately
  thirteen miles, and the duration of the activity
  was eight hours. |
